Areas for involvement:

Weekend trips are scheduled occasionally to Inez, Kentucky to minister at Haven of Rest. Haven of Rest is located three miles from a federal prison and ministers to families who come to visit their father/husband/son in the prison. Activities include painting, cleaning, gardening, general construction, and interacting with the guests.
Numerous opportunities are available for individual trips through the Southern Baptist National Mission Board at NAMB.net.

The youth group takes a trip nearly every year. Contact Ben Wilson for more information.
Individual opportunities are also available through the Southern Baptist International Mission Board. Go to imb.org for a list of opportunities.
Pray for and correspond with Kristy Northcutt. Kristy attended Highland Hills for the several years before going to Tailand to teach English as a second language. She is ministering specifically to the girls in the red-light district of Bangkok. Find out more about Kristy and her work on her web site kristyscapers.blogspot.com.
Pray for Gamie and Millie Beltran, missionaries in the Philippines who we support. Read updates from them here.
