The goal of the Benevolence Ministry is to help our brothers and sisters in Christ by providing emotional, physical, and/or financial support during their time of need. We will do our best to provide the appropriate short term or long term assistance required based upon the nature of your needs.
Regardless of your situation, we are always available to offer spiritual guidance and assistance through prayer and Biblical counsel and, if required, we can refer you to caring, qualified Christian counselors.
Contact the church office to learn more about contacting the Benevolence Team for more details regarding the extent and exact nature of assistance available.
Other Information
The Benevolence Ministry operates on an annual budget and may be limited as to how much monetary assistance can be provided. We will address the requests of our "members" first. We also recognize there are a lot of "regular attendees" at Highland Hills who are not members. Regular attendees are people who have been attending on a regular basis for a minimum of six months. These requests will also be considered. The Benevolence Ministry Committee also has the authority to provide assistance to non-members at their discretion. The committee will review all requests for monetary assistance and a determination will be made on the level of assistance to be provided. Not all requests will be granted. As stated above, there are non-monetary ways the Benevolence Ministry can provide assistance.
Before the Benevolence Ministry Committee authorizes any assistance, you will be required to provide some personal information and briefly describe your needs. The Committee members and any church members who provide assistance will keep all information confidential.
The services, other than monetary assistance, that are provided are done so by volunteers who have a passion to serve the Lord and their brothers and sisters in Christ.
For assistance with a need, please contact the church office.
Please note that the Benevolence Ministry Team does not provide cash to any individual.
