We share a common set of values that unify us, embody the spirit of Highland Hills, and reflect the character of God to the world. These values emulate the life of Christ and demonstrate our desire to partner with God so all people may experience the abundant life God promises.
Acceptance
We are committed to creating and fostering loving environments where people of all ages, cultures, backgrounds, and lifestyles are welcomed.
John 13:34-35
Service
We continually seek out opportunities to serve others in an attempt to pattern our lives to reflect Jesus’ example of servant leadership. We believe God has a specific place for everyone to serve others, and we provide opportunities to serve locally, nationally, and internationally.
I Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4
Relationships
We believe God wired us with a need to connect with other people. We offer community groups where individuals experience authentic community, grow in their relationship with God, and experience a sense of belonging.
Acts 2:44-47
Worship
We know it all begins with God. Therefore, we design every worship experience to be a memorable encounter with God, sparking life change that is ongoing. We embrace Biblical teaching, God’s leading, and relevance.
John 4:23-24; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Corinthians 9:19-23
Growth
We encourage the nurturing of personal habits that lead people to the abundant life God offers. Personal habits (such as Bible study, prayer, tithing, etc.) help us gain power to live the life Jesus taught and modeled—a life characterized by joy, peace, and love.
